Here are some more scrumptious flowers made using my Flower Power SVG files for Sure Cuts A Lot!! They were pretty easy to make, just a little time consuming.
I just used white cardstock, glimmer mist from Tattered Angels and the odd button, flowers soft or fancy stick pins. The large yellow flower is made by stacking various sizes of the 5 petal flower and the green and red flower was made by using the wide single petal cut multiple times. ……Click images for a larger peek!
Here’s a sweet layout made using a few of my newest SVG files for SCAL. I used Flower Power and Medallion, you can find them here! I just love these colors together, the background is a deep salmon color in case your monitor doesn’t display it correctly. This wee little bird (a house wren) was another one of my rescues….and yes he/she recovered and was fine! 🙂
Since my oldest daughter is into illustration I decided to get her a drafting table before the school year starts….so I looked over CraigsList last night and found 2 of these and this….for $50.00!!!! And it looks brand new!! They had been using it to display merchandise in a tiny clothing store in Maple Ridge….yay me!!!! lol Her and I just picked it up in the truck and set it up in her room by ourselves…..go girl power!! 🙂
All we need to do is secure the top to the back of the stands with a couple screws and I want to add a security lip on each front corner so the glass doesn’t slip forward when it’s tilted for drawing…..she’s one happy camper with this right now!!:) I think we can find her a thinner lightbox to slip under the glass too….the one she has is probably a little too high!
Melissa has an awesome give-away on her blog…don’t miss it!!!
….after searching for, scanning, editing, altering and spending many hours working on these sweet, sweet vintage baby images, I decided to make printable tags out of them!! You can get them in a printable PDF format in my Etsy store HERE!
Below is just a sampling of what you can do with these tags… 🙂
