Sharing a creative life, one post at a time!

Monthly Archives: November 2007

I am one of the featured BC scrapbookers in this Winter seasons Canadian Scrapbooker Magazines “passport to creativity section”. After grabbing several copies from Safeway today, I hurried home to throw dinner in the crockpot, rewarmed up my Peppermint Mocha that found it’s way home with me….settled in to read the mag cover to cover….and wouldn’t you know it!! I got an extra surprise this issue!!! On page 17 Tin Box Creations used two of my projects for their ad!!!! 🙂 Just made my afternoon extra special! I must add that “the girls” did not let me know it was in there….hehehehe!!!! Thanks karen/Dianne….lol.
I also created an ad for Scrapbooking Fanatics which is on page 74, and my feature spread is on pages 98 and 99!! Grab this mag if you see it on the stands, it’s outstanding!!!!! 🙂

My kind of prayer….:)

Dear Lord
So far today, I am OK
I have not gossiped,or lost my temper
I have not been greedy,grumpy,nasty,selfish
or self-indulgent..I have not whined,cursed,or
eaten any chocolate.
I have charged nothing on my credit card

But I will be getting out of bed in a minute and
I think that I will really need your help then.

I stopped at my local dollar store today and besides scooping a bunch of Li’l Davis silk flowers for $1./pack I found these beauties. It’s a set of six nesting cardboard boxes….all six of them only cost me $18.00!!!! I may “embellish” them a bit more over the holiday season too….won’t that be fun!!!! 🙂

….and we will be in the Dominican….whoohoo!!! I’m not thrilled with having to take malaria meds though!! Anyways, here are a few more projects from the past week. Click them to view larger! The first is an altered jar and soap box, the box holds the tea lights that get used in the candle holder.

….and my little visitor was here last night again, he’s here from Japan for an indefinite stay!

These were made for the cyber crop held at Savvynsassy this past week. They are super easy to make and feel wonderful in the hand…must be the paper bags….lol! I used DaisyD papers from an older release (Vintage Angels and Seasons Greetings), SNS ribbon, ranger stickles, stamps by Tin Box Creations (Everyday Alpha) and the cards large insert is made using a pice of Bazzills eyelet cardstock, love that stuff.

One of my entries won fouth spot in the Prima Paintables contest….so excited!!!! I love these paintables, your limited only by your imagination!!

This folder was supposed to be an accordion album with tags in the pockets but I changed that up a bit, I am using this to hold gift cards and certificates for DH’s parents this Christmas, I’ll give them things like a resteraunt GC, movie passes, a grocery store gift card and one other gift card…
