a boy and his popa

I really love mini albums, especially those created from the heart….with love…..for the heart…….this album is for my son who lost his popa when he was 9 and a half and he didn’t get to see much of him when the photos in the album stop…he’s now 24!!! .I hope he’s gonna like it :)

My new/old stamp shelf!!

I found this yucky ucky brown spoon rack/shelf thing at the second hand store for 3.00 (looks like a homemade jobby with homemade slat type board on the back) but I knew the shelf sizes were perfect for a stamp shelf. I wanted some stamps out where I would see and use them….so I painted it with primer and white paint then I simply slapped some white glue on the back of some Collage Press pp and wrapped it around the “spoon hangar” sections in the middle!!! Total cost…about 6 or 7 dollars…lol I have about 71 wood mounted stamps on there in the photo…room for more!!! :)
Just need to get some drywall screws to hang the whole thing…lol

from my paper garden :)

Here are some more scrumptious flowers made using my Flower Power SVG files for Sure Cuts A Lot!! They were pretty easy to make, just a little time consuming.
I just used white cardstock, glimmer mist from Tattered Angels and the odd button, flowers soft or fancy stick pins. The large yellow flower is made by stacking  various sizes of the 5 petal flower and the green and red flower was made by using the wide single petal cut multiple times. ……Click images for a larger peek!

yummy stuff!

Here’s a sweet layout made using a few of my newest SVG files for SCAL. I used Flower Power and Medallion, you can find them here! I just love these colors together, the background is a deep salmon color in case your monitor doesn’t display it correctly. This wee little bird (a house wren) was another one of my rescues….and yes he/she recovered and was fine! :)
